INTRODUCTION : The purpose of Biblesnapshot.com is to assist you in studying the New Testament by summarizing each book into sub headings and providing links to the full text in Biblegateway in order to study it in context or dig deeper into the scriptures. To give you an overview all that Jesus sacrifice on the cross accomplished for us, because that is what the New Testament is all about. John 3:16 "For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life." The Gospels cover the life of Jesus, His ministry on earth and death on the cross, which provided salvation to ALL who receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Summed up in this verse in 2 Cor. 5;19 “God was in Christ reconcil- ing the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restora- tion to favor with God].” The New Testament is all about the transformation of the lives of the disci- ples, who received Him as Savior and the call of God on their lives. The Book of Acts is a history of how the Disciples lived, ministered and died all for the cause of Christ. The Birth of the Church. Acts 2 (the day of Penticost), was the day the Holy Spirit decended to begin His ministry in and through the Church, you and I. He was the promise of the Father, sent to represent Jesus in all who received the Holy Spirit to dwell within. John 14:26 "But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor — Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you." The Holy Spirit is an integral part of the New Testament. There is no part of New Testament scripture that can be seperated from the Holy Spirit. He is the One sent by God to help every believer Overcome Sin. Galatians 5:16: "But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will cer- tainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts].(Amplified Bible) the works of the flesh Galatians 5:16-17 and develop the fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23 in us, and continue the ministry of Jesus John 14:12 in and through the lives of the believers.
About Us My name is Gil Howard-Browne. My wife, Loraine and I have been ac- tively involved in ministry for the past 55 years, since the age of 18 after I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We have been in full time ministry for the past 35 years and have con- ducted revival meetings in 172 USA cities and 45 International cities. The Word of God is our passion and focus and without God’s word as an anchor and guide for our lives, we will be adrift in an ocean of error. I have been amazed and saddened to see how many Christians have little knowledge of what God’s word promises, Who God is and what He has blessed us through the finished work of Christ on the Cross and the action of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. We believe BibleSnapshot.com will help everyone desiring to know more about the Word of God. Whilst this resource is FREE, it takes a lot of time and effort to set up and make it easy for viewers to access. If you would like to support us financially, Click Here
